I'm pleased to announce that You Can't Keep The Sun Down will soon be available in CD format. The EP has also got a brand new look, which you can see here. Copies should be available for purchase sometime in the next couple of weeks through this website and at performances.

In other news, I'm working on lots of music these days and am excited to share it with you soon, very soon.

I had a great time playing at Kaleido Festival this past weekend, thanks to everyone who came out! I'm really looking forward to the show with Aidan Knight and Boreal Sons on the 27th. I'm excited to be a part of two great Edmonton shows this month! First off, I'll be playing a free solo set at Kaleido Festival which runs from September 10-11. This is the 6th year of this fantastic arts festival with a whole variety of things to check out at no cost. My set is at 12pm on Sunday the 11th at the Carrott Coffeehouse (click 'tour' above for more info).

And then on September 27th I'll be joining in the fun with Aidan Knight and Boreal Sons at the Haven Social Club. My faithful band will accompany me for this show, so don't miss it!

It has been just over a week since You Can't Keep The Sun Down was released and I thank everyone for their enthusiasm so far about the new songs; it is truly a privilege to share music with you all. I'm pleased to announce the release of a new EP called You Can't Keep The Sun Down. I recorded this a few months ago really quickly over the course of a few nights in a church here in Edmonton. The songs date from the past few years; a few odds and ends that didn't seem to fit into any one project but came together quite nicely as an independent collection. They feature pared-down instrumentation, simple arrangements, and completely natural reverb - the result of having mics set up here and there in the room as I recorded. Currently this EP is limited to a digital release but I hope for a physical version to become a possibility sometime in the future. Listen/buy here.
